FabFitFun Summer 2017 Box Review + Coupon Code - The Life You Love

FabFitFun Summer 2017 Box Review + Coupon Code

After seeing a bunch of FabFitFun ads on Pinterest, I finally caved and ordered my first box when I saw their round towels in the spring 2017 box.  I fell in love and ended up getting a year subscription!  I've had a couple people ask me if I actually use what's in the box.  The answer is 100% yes.  It's not the kind of sub box where you're like, "Well, maybe my friend will want this" about one or two items each time.  You will seriously love all of it.

Before I show you the items, I want you to keep in mind that I paid $45.00 for this box and it has a retail value of $287.50.  Okay, ready to see the products?!  Or are you just ready to go get your own?

One of the really cool things about the FabFitFun box is that you get to pick some of your items or interests!  I clicked the traveler option and received this super cute rose gold vegan On the Road Again leather passport and luggage tag set from Understated Leather.  I've been considering getting a set but hadn't found one that I liked, so I was pretty damn excited about this!  Perfect timing, since most of my travel happens in the second half of the year.  This retails for $28.00.  FabFitFun members could also choose between being a DIY-er or a cook.

I have used this adorable bkr Little Water Bottle since the second I opened my box.  It usually retails for $35.00 and it's glass, so it isn't something I would normally buy for myself, but I actually really do love it.  It's dishwasher safe and it's super bright.  This is more of a cute water bottle than a functional bottle, though.  It sweats A LOT and it doesn't keep your water cold.  It's definitely better for the office or class than for a trip to the beach.  Still, I've been drinking a LOT more water since I got this bottle.  Everyone received this product, but Select members (aka annual members) got to select which color they wanted.

The top left item in this picture is a Smoothing Eye Concentrate by Juice Beauty that I think really works pretty well!  After using it for only a week, I feel like my eyes look a lot smoother and they feel more hydrated than they did before.  I'll probably buy this product again once it runs out!  It retails for $29.00.  I will say that half a pump is usually enough for me and will help your product last even longer.  This product is vegan and cruelty-free, which makes me love it even more!  Everyone received this product.

The top right product is the Cargo_HD Picture Perfect Highlighter in Bronze.  I'm pretty attached to my tarte highlight palette and it's my go-to, but this is a great product to carry around for touch ups!  It has a beautiful shimmer, but it didn't seem to last very long.  It retails for $30.00, but I wouldn't pay that much for this product simply because it isn't long-lasting.  Everyone received this product.

The bottom left product is a Soothe and Cool Post-training Massage Oil by Way of Will.  It's a massage oil to use after a workout!  It has jojoba oil and peppermint and chamomile essential oils so you can imagine that it smells amazing!  I actually like to apply this to the back of my neck just on hot days because peppermint is so cooling.  Peppermint essential oil is also great for headaches so you could put this on your temples!  And nausea!  This retails for $29.50.  They also offer free samples of some of their products on their website, such as shoe deodorizing spray and yoga mat spray!  I received this product because I said I wanted to work on my fitness.  The other option was working on your beauty regime.

And finally, the bottom right product is a bottle of Eau Thermale Avène Ultra-Light Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+.  Damn, that's a long product name.  I haven't tried this one yet, but I've heard it absorbs into your skin quickly, which is what I like in a facial sunscreen.  It's supposed to be super hydrating, too.  The description says that it's water resistant and works well with all skin types and skin tones.  I really should wear this every day!  At $24.00 retail price, I'm not sure if it's something I'll purchase after I run out, but we shall see how amazing it actually is.  Everyone received this product.

This was the big product in the summer box!  It's the Michael Stars Ruana.  I got to pick the design of this gorgeous item and I, of course, opted for black and white.  It retails for $54.00, meaning this item alone is worth more than what I paid for the entire box!  It's super lightweight and versatile.  You can use it as a shawl like I do, or as a scarf or as a sarong.  It doesn't have sleeves, which is what makes it so easy to wear in different ways.  I even wear it around the house because it makes me feel cozy and flows.  I think it would be the perfect beach coverup!  This is another item that everyone received, but Select members got to select their style.

And the product that I was most excited about receiving is this beautiful necklace from Kris Nations. It has peach moonstone!  If you've heard about how much people are beginning to love healing crystals, you'll understand why I'm so freaking in love with this gemstone necklace.  Peach moonstone encourages inner strength, peace, and calmness.  It's an absolutely beautiful crystal and I love love love having such a delicate, yet empowering piece of jewelry.  Moonstone is also connected to the Divine Feminine, which is something I've been working on spiritually.  This necklace has a retail value of $58.00 meaning, again, this item itself is worth more than the price of the box!  I'm definitely considering buying another (or all) of these!  Again, everyone got one of these necklaces, but Select members were able to choose which necklace they wanted.

Have I convinced you yet?  I have a $10 off discount code for you to help fuel your newest obsession!  Just click the link and you'll automatically receive $10 off your first box.
